Vegetable Biriyani

Vegetable Biriyani, this recipe will tickle your taste buds enough to make sure your trolling tongue is tied. Have the recipe only at Arhaaths!!


1.Basmati rice2 cup
6.Onion (Big)1
7.Green chillies3
8.Refined oil2 tbsp
9.Ghee1 tbsp
10.Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
11.Curd3 tbsp
12.Cinnamon3 inch
13.Bay leaves2
14.Fennel seeds1 tsp
17.Star Anise1
18.Mint leavesAs required
19.Coriander leavesAs required
20.Chilly powderAs required
21.SaltAs required
22.Biryani masala1 tbsp
23.Garam masala1 tbsp
24.Breads5 (sliiced)


  1. Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add cinnamon,bay leaves,fennel seeds,cloves ,cardamom and star anise.
  3. Fry it.
  4. Add green chilies and chopped big onions .
  5. Saute it till onion becomes golden brown.
  6. Add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw flavour goes.
  7. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  8. Saute it for a minute.
  9. Add chopped tomatoes,carrot,beans and potatoes.
  10. Give a mix.
  11. Add curd and saute for 2 minutes.
Veg Biriyani!!


  1. Add biryani masala,chilli powder and garam masala.
  2. Saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Add 2cup basmati rice and give a mix.
  4. After the rice gets heated ,add 4 cups of water .
  5. Add required salt and mint leaves.
  6. Give a mix and keep the stove in low flame.
  7. Close the cooker and allow it for 1 whistle.
  8. After the pressure gets completed released ,open the cooker and serve the tasty vegetable biryani.
