Kesari/Rava Kesari/Sooji Kesari – Sweet Recipe..

Kesari, a name that makes your mouth water. A sweet famous down south in India, easy to cook and easier to eat :).


Rava/Sooji1 Cup
Sugar1 Cup
Milk1/2 Cup
Water2 Cup
GheeAs required
Cashew NutsAs required
RaisinsAs required
Cherries (Optional)5-6 Nos
Cardamom Powder1/2 tsp
Salt1 Pinch
Kesari Powder2 Pinch


  1. Roast Cashews and Raisins in Ghee.
  2. Keep it aside.
  3. Roast Rava/Sooji in Ghee and keep it aside.


  1. Boil Water and Milk in a pan.
  2. Add Roasted Rava/Sooji and stir it continuously in low flame.
  3. Stir it till the Rava absorbs the Water and Milk.
  4. Add Sugar and stir it .
  5. After Sugar gets dissolved,add Kesari powder and stir .


  1. Add 1 tbsp Ghee , Cardamom powder,1 Pinch Salt ,Cherries,Roasted Cashews and Raisins into Rava Mixture(From Step 2).
  2. Give a Mix and Switch Off the Stove.

Simple and Delicious Sweet Kesari Ready
