Narayaneeyam

Devotion to the Lord is suffused with sweetness even in the beginning of its practice due to the Lord’s very sweet attributes. As the devotee’s devotion progresses the Devotee experiences a freedom from all his/her woes. It awakens one from the sleep of ignorance and bestows the Supreme Bliss of Non-Dual Consciousness.

Sloka 1:

Pathanto naamaani pramadabharasindhau nipatitaah

Smaranto ruupam te varada kathayanto gunakathaah.

Charanto ye bhaktaastvayi khalu ramante paramamuunaham

Dhanyaan manye samadhigatasarvaabhilashitaan.

Sloka 2:

Gadaklishtam kashtam tava charanasevaarasabhare(a)

Pyanaasaktam chittam bhavati bata vishno kuru dayaam.

Bhavatpaadaambhojasmaranarasiko naamanivahaanaham

Gaayam gaayam kuhachana vivatsyaami vijane.

Sloka 3:

Kripaa te jaataa chetkimiva na hi labhyam tanubhritaam

Madiiyakleshaughaprashamanadashaa naama kiyatii.

Na ke ke loke(a)sminnanishamayi shokaabhirahitaah

Bhavadbhaktaa muktaah sukhagatimasaktaa vidadhate.

Sloka 4:

Munipraudhaa ruudhaa jagati khalu guudhaatmagatayo

Bhavatpaadaambhojasmaranavirujo naaradamukhaah.

Charantiisha svairam satataparinirbhaataparachitsadaanandaadvaitaprasaraparimagnaah

Kimaparam.

Sloka 5:

Bhavadbhaktih sphiitaa bhavatu mama saiva prashamayedasheshakleshaugham

Na khalu hridi sandehakanikaa,

Na chedvyaasasyoktistava cha vachanam naigamavacho

Bhavenmithyaa rathyaapurushavachanapraayamakhilam.

Sloka 6:

Bavadbhaktistaavat pramukhamadhuraa tvadgunarasaat

Kimapyaaruudhaa chedakhilaparitaapaprashamanii.

Punashchaante svaante vimalaparibodhodayamila

Nmahaanandaadvaitam dishati kimatah praarthyamaparam.

Sloka 7:

Vidhuuya kleshaanme kuru charanayugmam dhriitarasam

Bhavatkshetrapraaptau karamapi cha te puujanavidhau.

Bhavanmuurtyaaloke nayanamatha te paadatulasiiparighraane

Ghraanam shravanamapi te chaarucharite.

Sloka 8:

Prabhuutaadhivyaadhiprasabhachalite maamakahridi

Tvadiiyam tadruupam paramasukhachidruupamudiyaat.

Uda~nchadromaa~ncho galitabahuharshaashrunivaho

Yathaa vismaryaasam durupashamapiidaparibhavaan.

Sloka 9:

Marudgehaadhiisha tvayi khalu paraancho(a)pi sukhino

Bhavatsnehii so(a)ham subahu paritapye cha kimidam.

Akiirtiste maa bhuudvarada gadabhaaram prashamayan

Bhavadbhaktottamsam jhatiti kuru maam kamsadamana.

Sloka 10:

Kimuktairbhuuyobhistava hi karunaa yaavadudiyaa

Daham taavaddeva prahitavividhaartapralapitah.

Purah klipte paade varada tava neshyaami divasaa

Nyathaashakti vyaktam natinutinishevaa virachayan.
